Terms of use
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the Ombelle application (the “App”), published by Jungle Labs, a French single-member limited company (EURL) with a share capital of €1,000, Paris Trade and Companies Register 953 467 487, 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France. By installing or using the App, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.
2. What Ombelle is, and what it is not
Ombelle is the baby's logbook and the new parent's companion: daily tracking (feeds, diapers, sleep, temperature, medication, bath), childcare content, play and development activities, prevention and a parent space.
Ombelle is not a medical device, a medical record, medical advice or an emergency service. Its content is informative and general; it never replaces the advice of a doctor, midwife or early-childhood professional. The App calculates no dosage, interprets no measurement and issues no health alert. The medication reminders you schedule are a memory aid only, under your sole responsibility. If in doubt or in an emergency, contact a healthcare professional or call your local emergency number.
3. Access and account
The App requires no account. It is intended for adults who are the parent or legal guardian of the child whose information they enter. It requires an iPhone running iOS 26 or later; an Android version is planned.
4. Your data
Your data is stored on your device and does not leave it. You keep full control and responsibility for it, including backups (for example through iCloud) and exports. Jungle Labs has no access to it and cannot restore or recover it for you. Details are in the privacy policy.
5. Ombelle Premium
Daily tracking, basic history, prevention, help and emergency resources and the parent check-in stay free. Some content and features (statistics, long history, the full catalogue, detailed exports, personalisation) are reserved for the Ombelle Premium subscription.
- The subscription is offered and billed by Apple through the App Store, at the price shown in the App at the time of purchase (indicatively €4.99 a month or €39.99 a year, taxes included).
- It renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date, in your Apple account settings (Settings, your name, Subscriptions).
- A current subscription stays active until the end of the paid period; there is no pro-rata refund. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its terms.
- On a new device, “Restore purchases” reinstates the subscription linked to your Apple account.
No safety-related content (prevention, emergency resources) is ever placed behind the subscription.
6. Content
Articles and activities are written and reviewed with a professional childcare approach, with their sources and dates. They are provided as general information, may evolve with App updates, and do not take your child's particular situation into account.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its content, its motif, its name and its brand are the property of Jungle Labs. The licence granted to you is personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable. Any reproduction, extraction or distribution of the content beyond private use is prohibited without written permission.
8. Acceptable use
You agree to use the App for its intended purpose and in accordance with the law, and not to attempt to circumvent the subscription, decompile the App or extract its content in an automated way.
9. Liability
Jungle Labs does its best to ensure the reliability of the App and its content, without warranty of completeness or absence of error, and cannot be held liable for a decision made on the basis of information entered or read in the App. The App is provided as is; its availability may be interrupted for maintenance or updates.
10. Changes and termination
Jungle Labs may update the App and these terms; the version in force is the one published on this page, with its date. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it, after exporting or erasing your data if you wish.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute and failing an amicable settlement, the French courts have jurisdiction. You may also use the European online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
